Swimmer Katie Ledecky, gymnast Suni Lee, and hurdler Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone share their excitement for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
So I have not been to Paris and um I've kind of been saving it for this opportunity ever since I, I knew that the Olympics would be in Paris. I kind of like the idea of that magical feeling of landing in a city that you've never been to for the first time. And I just know that, that joy, that adrenaline that I'll feel when we touch down in Paris will carry me through the Olympics and can't wait to experience it. When I think of Paris, I think of a luxury. It's just a place that you want to be. It's so beautiful, the Eiffel Tower when it's shimmering all I think when I look at the Eiffel Tower and it's like shimmering and there's the twinkles I think of when we step up to a podium and our leotards are sparkling. That's what it makes me think of and it's just like it makes me get butterflies, but it's really exciting. The most magical aspect of Paris. I would just say the culture truly. And there's so many historic sites there that you can go and visit. I feel like it's just an amazing place to hold something like the Olympics because it just really is going to bring the world together and it's going to be unforgettable.
