    I've posted that I'm disappointed in the GM's lack picking up any free agents or trades. He says the team was only 10 points out of making the playoffs and only needs tweaking. If his goal is to only be a wild card team and out in the first round, they could possibly do that, but many of the teams in the division have gotten much better and he thinks they have a good team. Today CNN posted their power rankings, post free agency. They have the Canes listed at 25 out of 30, primarily because of inactivity from a team that hasn't made the playoffs in years. http://www.nrc.gov/NRR/OVERSIGHT/ASSESS/approved_faqs.pdf
