Actually... CHOKING is starting the season ranked #6 in the country only to be told by the NCAA to POUND SAND come tournament time.
Staying home (particularly when you're supposed to be "so good") is the height of EMBARRASSMENT.
Look on the bright side pansies... At least you're USED to the EMBARRASSMENT by now.

I thank State for providing such a great comedy show last night! They are the gift that keeps on giving! Great entertainment for the entire family! And all the state fans that never watched a game all season had become so mesmerized by the baseball team! Talk about a group of disappointed band wagoners!

When State drew SB for the 1st game, someone on here stated they were glad State drew such an easy game (win). My post reply was to not count on wins too soon as anything can and will happen at tournament time regardless of the sport being played. Well, we sure saw it last night. State had an overall really good season, but wow--what a way to end it. smh

oh yes, you have....unc baseball started the season at #6 in the country.....and went 0-6 in their last 2 acc series to MISS the ncaa tourney.........State choked a game away(walks galore!), unc choked A SEASON away......no comparison

Don't kid yourself - State choked away a Super Regional and a chance at the CWS and a very special season. And having a 7 run lead with 4 outs left - giving up 6 runs on 2 hits and losing that game is the epitome of a Choke. Of course for the fringe on here doing better than an avg. UNC team is all that matters - for those players on the Pack it is obvious that they choked

Yep. They choked....big time. So, now what? Maybe if you said it another 1,000 times or so, it will sink in and everyone will agree with you? Are you REALLY that obsessed with N.C. State???
