    Agree about Wake, T. Must have had that guy in mind before letting Manning go. Now players are decommiting or in the transfer portal. Too bad about Manning. He's a good guy. Thought he might have another year when Wake didn't show him the door at the end of the season. Been downhill since Prossor passed away.

    T - I was wondering if Wake Forest would give Levelle Moton a look for their HC. He deserves a look, but I would feel so bad for Central if he left. For some reason, I just saw your post now where his son leads the team out on the court and his daughter helped cut down the nets. Great stuff! As much as he deserves a higher profile job, I'd hate to see him leave Central. He is revered there.

    Max - I can't remember if it was Hurney or Gettleman when they gave Smitty the boot. Cam doesn't have many options now. He had great physical ability, but not much upstairs. Good guy, gave a lot to the community. I think the Panthers did him dirty. Panthers did more than one player dirty. Would have loved to have Russell Wilson in Charlotte, but Seahawks got him at a bargain in the 3rd round. RW is talented and he is smart. I don't even recognize who the Panthers are anymore. No more Rivera, Cam, Olsen, Kuechly. Who ARE they??

    well Steve Smith was a leader, Cam was not and still not a leader, Cam is more of a whiner, complainer, not a big Panther fan but glad he is gone, Bridgewater will do a good job, he was a leader for the Saints when Brees was hurt, I think the Saints should have kept him somehow, Brees will be gone in a year or two. Great abilities does not always mean great player, some players emerge late in their career. Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't Hurney there when they got rid of Smitty.

    I hear ya, Max. I looked Tepper's deep pockets, but not sure of his agenda. Agree they dumped Smitty because of Cam. Cam couldn't be the leader as long as Smitty was there. Still don't like the decision though.

    All this is insignificant compared to what the Nation is facing.

    They got rid of Smith because of Cam, doubt Steve Smith has any sympathy for Cam. Panthers have had some bad front office personnel, with this new owner its gonna get worse, he doesn't care about the community, it's just another sports franchise to him, he may move it who knows. Wish Jerry would sold it to someone in the Carolinas area.

    T - agree about Brady. ESPN is now BSPN. Last year it was all Zion all the time.

    The number of teams needing a QB is dwindling. Hope Cam finds a team where he can start. Panthers did him wrong, but then again look at what they did to Smitty years ago, what they did to Olsen (saying it was mutual when clearly it wasn't), Thomas Davis last season, Eric Reid this year (after giving him a contract extension after last season). The front office doesn't give a rip about the MAN, only the player when he's producing. Guess it's just a business, but these guys are human beings.

    Feel bad the way the Panthers dumped Cam after not committing to him. I like Bridgewater, but poor guy is gonna get no protection from that O-Line. Some high profile QBs on the market, but I think Cam is the best one out of Flaco and Winston, Panthers aren't the Panthers anymore. No Rivera, no Cam, no Kuechly, no Olsen. They even let Reid go after giving him a new contract at the end of the season. SMH.

    ESPN is showing golden oldie games at night now. I've been watching the series Basketball: A Love Story. Better than Sports Center where it's Brady, Brady, Brady.

    T - your daughter is on the softball team? Maaaan! Hate it for the athletes who can't play and compete. The "what if's" from the NCAAs are mind boggling. Dayton? Who knows if/when they'll have another year like this year. March would have been the best madness this year!!! No clear favorite. Not even the blue bloods!

    So Pretty Boy and Belichick/Robert (ewwww) Kraft broke up. Boo hoo. How about the way the Panthers treated Cam???? Yeah, yeah "we want you on the roster." Apparently, not so much. Treated him like dirt. I like Bridgewater, but Cam deserved better.

    Crazy times. Haven't found toilet paper yet. May use my old brackets if I get desperate LOL.

    Guys Wifey and I went to Food Lion on Sunday. No big deal. She and her sisters go to Sam's every Saturday anyway so we have plenty of paper.
    Brady fans are Patriot fans? Cant wait for this to unfold.
    Good for your pro athletes.... This really means a'lot...
    Imagine the mid majors like Dayton/San Diego State that have built there programs from freshman to now seniors? Would have been interesting this year in March madness.
    My daughter is so upset that she can't play softball.....

    Just saw where Brady is leaving the Patriots. Will be interesting to see how NE does without him and how his next team does with him. Heard TB and Chargers are two targets. I think he goes to LA. If he goes to TB, goodbye Jamis.

    All the tv network are going overboard on, may every hour or so give us an update but are going 24/7, I will lots of programming on 50.2, 17.3 and so on, love for then puts sports programming on some these, replay of basketball and football games, I know ACC. Network does, I got only air antenna and lots of people are like this. Will endure thru this, best health to all, Gunny, Toddler take care and enjoy life as best y'all can.

    T - I've heard that a lot of the pro teams and some individual players are going to pay the salary of the hourly workers. Zion is one who stepped forward. Good guy for sure.

    Feel sorry for the high school kids especially the kids playing for state titles over the weekend. Lets not forget the ordinary people that work in the arenas. Big time college basketball they will just reload as usual with the one and done's. Pro's your bills will still get paid.

    You're right: before the ACC cancelled the tourney, Duke said they wouldn't play. I was really looking forward to seeing them play State. Oh well. Bet K wasn't. He wouldn't want to be one and done in the ACCT with all his one and done players.

    I think K is relieved, he was probably not gonna win, having to play State then FSU and Louisville, I may be wrong I think I heard had it not been canceled Duke was not gonna play anyway.

    Well, Max, this has been the strangest year ever. Feel worst for the players. FSU and Clemson dressed and ready to play, only to find out the tourney, and most likely the season, is over. K is either relieved or seething. Winning The ACCT has always meant a lot to him. This has such long reaching economic implications. This had the potential to be a heck of a great tourney with no clear favorite. Was really looking forward to it, but they did the right thing.

    Might be time to "summerize" basketball, Max.

    Proud of the Wolfpack women, cant believe ND has fell as far as they have, they been one of the top programs last few years. Pretty Kaye Yow was smiling Saturday. I was really hoping that young lady from Tenn. that was Pack coach would have worked but I think they finally have a good one. I heard where K said he didnt want any of his player to interact with fans at the tournament.

    Wow Max - have a blast! My brother and I talked about going, but decided against it. Great opportunity to see your Pack. I love the ACCT. Liked it better back in the day of nine teams, but still should be great time. Hard to tell who will be standing on Saturday because it's been such an up and down season for all teams, including Duke and UCA. In a way, I guess it's more fun to see different teams succeed. Happy fir Hamilton and FSU. It's a football school and he doesn't get the five star recruits, and look what they've done. Even they lose games they shouldn't, so we will see.....

    I think Glenn's show will be gone in 2-3 years, think he wears on people after a while, I have not listen to him probably 2 1/2 years--- Gold will not be any better, see how J.G. does at 3:00, if can deal with Oblivious and his silliness, we will see. Going to tourney Wednesday, Thurday and hopefully Friday. The Pack has started playing a little better, hopefully can get on a roll. A saw a couple of teams with 16-15 or 15-14 records on the bubble, if you only won 1 more game than you lost it ought to be a disqualified.

    Glad DG is gone as well. Big market for him to lose. I doubt he'll stop bragging about his "unprecedented state wide show" on whatever channel he's on.

    Glad DG is gone, don't care Adam or Joe, will not go back to listen to Adam at 12 noon, I will give Joe Giglio a listen, if its the same ole as before I will bail. Joe O tries to make it all about him, if JG can calm him down and control the show I may listen to a few, several shows on sirius/XM I like to listen to.

    Would love to see Levelle move up in the ranks, but he loves NCCU so much. His son leads the team out on the court before games. His daughter and son helped cut down the nets. His daughter left a note before school last week saying I don't need a hero because I have a daddy. WOW! I think one day he will leave but it will be very hard.

    What??? I just listened to DG yesterday! Giglio has been on the Adam and Joe show a lot lately. So I guess they were testing the waters. I don't think Adam and Joe like each other. Used to be Adam was the top dog, but Joe has been more dominant than in the past. DG just brags too much.
    Surprised at these changes.

    T - Moton deserves so much more credit than he gets, but Central knows who they have - he is loved. As much as he deserves a higher profile job, it would be sad for Central to lose him. Danny Manning is halfway our the door at Wake. Maybe they'll consider Moton?

    you are right the Central/A&T is a true rivalry, does not have to be hyped by ESPN to make it great. ESPN should give that game a shot, would be pleasantly surprised, on the other hand they would try to make it all about them.

    Great game in Durham last night between NCCU/NC A@T. My opinion biggest rival game in all of college sports that doesn't get the attention. Believe me you have to experience it to understand.The fans were locked in from the start. ESPN commentator said the fans were dancing during time outs. No lady its called stepping. LOL. Mel Blounts son plays for NCCU. Congrats Coach Moton and the Eagles on there third straight regular season title. Going to be hard winning the tourney title in Norfolk because Norfolk State is good also as is A@T.

    One thing I like about Fundeburke, never see him beatching and moaning, he will shake his head and smile, I went back and watched some games last year, he Daniels and Hellums have really improved but Markell, Beverly and C.J regressed, hoping they have a nice run in the tournament, if they go that is great, if its N.I.T then they will have probably 3 homes games if they keep winning, trying to be positive. KK has 3 guys seating on the bench this year that could have helped but they will ready next year along with 5 incoming Freshman, Keatts will have a full cupboard next year and I know he likes to run.

    He gets on my nerves and Duke fans as well as the experts praise him. What's in the rafters can't help you. You're so great a coach you should develop players so you wont lose the close games. Gunny you're right about Roy he will just say we got our you know whats kicked. Every year my prediction/hope is anybody but K. UK got beat last night also and Cal said they out toughed us.

    K got all in his feelings when he was criticized after Duke lost two one possession games. Crybaby. Roy never made excuses for all the one and two possession games they lost. K said look up in the rafters before you criticize. Face it K: this team is not as good as your other teams.

    I really like DJ Fundeburke, he has really improved, some rumors going around he may go to Europe next to play pro ball, I hope not he would be a big asset to this team next year. I have heard Beverly is playing hurt, has back issues. I really hope this is all hearsay. I heard K wanted his team to make NC State remember this game. I think he thought Duke would have a big lead at half and make State uncomfortable in 2nd half. This is gonna be an entertaining week as the ACC finishes up last, FSU and Louis would have to lose all their games for Duke to have a chance to finish in first, then it would be tiebreaker.there are 4 teams that could finish anywhere from 5th to 8th, gonna be interesting week. I am going up to the womens tournament later this week. Hope Pack can do good.

    I always look forward to the ACCT. Not the same since expansion , but still like it.

    Watching State/Pitt. Ugly game could go either way, but State is by far the better team, and I expect them to play better in the second half.

    ACC tournament coming up-Looks like its 1-FSU 2-Louisville 3-Duke 4- UVA-if things go according they should play out--5-Syracuse 6-NCSU 7-ND 8-Clemson 9-VT 10-BC 11-14 Pitt, Miami, UNC and WF but things could change a little bit if with a couple of upsets.

    State had there chance to beat a not so often bad UNC team. Good luck when they reload next year.

    K will be in the same place next year because all of his talent will leave and he will bring in more talent with an inconsistent bench. Thought K could develop 3 stars into 5 stars. Glad david Robinson son got some run. let him play because he has been there for 4 years.

    Couldn't watch all of the Kobe memorial. Rest in Peace Mamba...

    D. Wade great player but I turn the TV whenever I see his face on TV because of how he and his wife are supporting his SON on social media and talk shows. The kid is 11 years old. You can support him without the world knowing. My daughter?My little girl? No way....

    I have watched this version of the Pack and when they are on, they can beat anybody but if a couple guys are off or in foul trouble it disrupts their abilities, I love D J fundeburke the way he is tenacious on the inside, he plays 110% when on the floor, Devon Daniels is also one that gives his all when he is out on the court, M. Johnson is probably the most talented but when his game is off--he is off. Bryce has not been the same since his concussion protocol, Braxton is a good ball handler but his 3 point is hit or miss and when he is missing it is bad. Hellums has improved a lot since day one. Bates is gonna be a hellavu player before he leaves. Dixon is good player but I would say he is a low caliber ACC player, Andree can not get healthy. I think next years team should be better,Pack loses Andree, Dixon, M.J. and Bryce but has Seabron, Allen and Taylor sitting out this year and 5 incoming freshmen -lots of new players coming to influx with vet players, looking for good things

    K actually did congratulate Manning. Good to see. Shocked at both games last night.

    Did you guys watch the Kobe tribute? Very moving. Loved MJs and Shaq's eulogies. Both made me want to cry and laugh. Watched the ESPN special about D Wade. Very well done.

    Do you guys think the 'Stros have what's coming to them? In a way, I do.

    Wonder if K blew by Danny Manning the way he did with Keates. Great win for Wake, but not sure they want to keep Manning.

    Read today Rhule supposedly wants to keep Cam. I think they treated him poorly and wouldn't blame him if he told the Panthers to pound sand. A lot of teams would love to have to have Cam. I don't see Rivers in Charlotte. The Panthers won't look like the Panthers. New Coach, no Luke, no Greg Olsen. Won't be the same. The Not For Long league.

    ACC is crazy this year. Wake beats Duke in 2 OTs. Carolina in last place, with Clemson breaking The Streak.

    a loss would be devastating to this team, they will always a certain group that will go ballistic, fire the coach, fire Boo, this team has no talent, its unfortunate but I think most of the fans are sane and will be very disappointed but will not go to that extreme. The negative Nancy's as I call them are the most vocal and the loudest. There is a group on Facebook Always A Wolfpacker that are pretty level headed maybe a few will go overboard but the other group NC State Legend, truths, and Myth they will go absolutely bunkers I read comments on UNC forum talking junk about the team, things like they got no talent, fire Roy, this program is going to hell usually comments as such a come from ones that think can coach, can evaluate talent, some fans just take it too far, I got booted from legends site as guess for being to positive. They got a lot of trolls on there also.

    I think Bates will outstanding next year and will an 1st team all ACC as a junior, this team is a good team but just have that go to guy when someone needs to take over, Markell is an outstanding player honestly he has underachieved this year. I think all the freshmen next year will see minutes, hope we don't lose any after next year. D.J. and Devin have improved a lot, I think will be better next year, I look for big improvement next year. Tomorrow nights game will have a lot of bearing on how the season ends up for the Pack. A win would give the a big boost, another loss could affect how they play against Pitt.
