    I'd think Ohio State is happy about beating Clemson, but I hope they're celebrating another win next Monday in the Championship Game, but I don't think so. Anyone but Saban. Please.

    The schools tried to play the games, but what a you-know-what show. Ohio State plays 6 games and is in the playoffs. So much for a level playing field. Tough situation. Schools wanted the $$$, players wanted to prepare for the NFL. Basketball has been bumpy to say the least. Capel may have been right: postpone till spring, but not easy, especially for the kids who want to be in the NBA not school another semester.

    Some teams schools playing, some are not, players opting out. Doesn't seem like college football was worth it because of the risk and like Gunny I totally understand. Look out college basketball. Guess you can say the bowl wins should be tainted. That said haven't watched a college football game this year because of those reasons. As long as Bama doesn't win it...

    Max - I agree with your picks regarding State, Carolina and Clemson. Don't know about the Championship game - Bama is supposed to be really good (I wouldn't know as I haven't watched them play a single game). Sam Howell won't have anyone to throw the ball to in their matchup against Texas A&M, but I think A&M would have won anyway. Yeah - the football season had its bumps, but as far as the ACC, they did play most, if not all, of their games. Don't blame the schools who opted out of the Bowls. Just not worth the risk.

    ACC bowl picks, Okla.St. beats Miami. WAKE beats Wisconsin, State beats Kentucky, Texas A&M too much for UMC, Clemson wins. FOOTBALL coming to a close, shocked this many games were played.

    Totally agree about Coach Moton. His team is well coached and grew more confident as the game went on.

    Yeah FSU has a'lot of talent. I watched that NCCU game. Coach Moton also doesn't get the credit he deserves. If these kids would just stay in school because a'lot are not ready for the NBA.

    I can see the ACC Championship going either way, but Dame is good. I don't like the way they pick the ACC for football this year, but will go back to being independent next year. I like Mike Bray in b ball though, so glad the ACC has Dame for that.

    You talking about #55 from Iowa -T. Yeah kid is a stud. He's arrogant, but he'll be getting paid next year. Iowa is for REAL. Heels barely beat Central. Roy sat on his TOs as usual. Team is young and could use some direction.

    I like the new ACC Comish. Guy seems sincere.

    Florida State might be the class of the ACC in b ball this year. Like Hamilton. Doesn't get the recognition he deserves.

    Right Gunny 95 reminds me so much of K now. My kids need to be with there families. You're right k have your kids travel to their families for the holidays. Wonder will they wear masks in their own homes? Dude just coach them and stop with the excuses.

    Can't see Clemson losing to Dame again. If Dabo will come with the excuses.

    That dude from Iowa is the best i have seen this year..

    Carolina had a banner day against Miami. Great to see, but how did this team lose to FSU.

    Really looking forward to the ACC championship game this Saturday. I can see Dame beating Clemson.

    State and Carolina in the Top 25 should get good bowls.

    K and Roy will be hard to replace. I sure hope it isn't like when Dean left for the Heels. Doherty - what a nightmare. Wish Brad Stevens would get fed up with the NBA, but I don't see him returning to coach college.

    Agree that K doesn't want to see another coach win a Natty, at least not for a while. The B1G looks to have a lot of good teams. They spanked the ACC in the challenge this year.

    T - I remember '95 - the year of "The Back" lol. I remember a few years ago K whined about his players having "tired legs" because they played a lot of games in a short period of time. So did other teams. He was wearing his mask like a chin strap in the Illinois game. Guess it's too hard to yell at the refs with a mask on.

    Right Gunny. That UNC team along with Nova twice, and UVA means its all about experience. watched UK a couple of times and they can't hit the side of a barn. Just because you are 5 star players doesn't mean you are 5 star players. Whats wrong with just coaching them to be better? I mean that is what you're paid to do... When conference play starts the excuse will be, we are rusty and again they are just kids...Retire dude..

    T - all the one and dones haven't paid off for K. Roy won in 2017 with a senior laden team. Watching Duke and Carolina with young teams this year, the inexperience shows. State is in good shape with older players.

    Max - I was really impressed with Coastal Carolina's coaching staff. their head coach is young, energetic and provides a fun atmosphere for his team. I can see a higher profile college snapping him up, possible after this season. I was glad they beat BYU

    Good to hear from all, glad most FB teams got in around at least 10 games, glad the Pack had a good year, will have a decent bowl, hoping Coastal wins out and Cincinnati loses maybe they get a top bowl, somebody at Coastal is doing a good job, Baseball national champs and now this. GREAT JOB COASTAL.

    You're Gunny he has the talent, but they will go pro and you're back to square one. I wasn't sold on any college sports playing because doctors kept saying when the cold weather hits it will get worse.

    T - yeah I had to laugh at K's sudden dismay about playing. He does have talent, and he'll develop it, but the irony made me laugh. I do believe Jeff Capel and think he is sincere in his concerns about playing ball now. With more and more teams having to pause their season, wonder when the NCAA will make a decision. Then again, that organization would have to think with a conscience and not its bottom line.

    Yes I'm fine was also having problems. K you're funny. You know you don't have a good team. No fans. You're losing. Now you have a problem. wonder if Zion, RJ Barrett, Cam Reddish, Carey etc was on this team and you were 4-0 and dominating? I saw this coming when you beat Coppin Sate by 10.

    Max - I'm so glad you saw my post! I felt terrible reading your posts with no way to communicate with you. I had all but given up when Tech Support emailed me yesterday.     Would Duke fire Cutt? I think he has done great at Duke but maybe it's time for a move, has his time expired. Get a young energetic coach, FSU needs a great coach that can build. Freeze would be perfect choice.

    Doing good, Watching Pack trudge thru this season, not looking bad, back to square 1 with Leary going down, I thought they would whip unc but now I don't know. Lots of new faces emerging to be more than roll players, take care and easy.

    I don't really dislike Duke that much it's mainly K, I actually like Cutt, the grandstanding by "K" media holds their breath its oh my k gonna make a statement as if he an authority on all things, watch Pack Wake game, enjoyed it. I think will be lucky to have 5-6 game season, interrupting will occur.

    All about the money. I really can't get into it because everyone isn't playing, cancelling games, playing half the season, etc.. Well at least k university is 0-2.

    Small schools with little eye appeal to ESPN such as , UNC-P, NCCU, NC A&T and others,TV networks could care less if, the Power 5 provides a product and networks. I would have been fine if they skip this year but it's more about product than looking out for students, athletes and non athletes.

    Get what you're saying Max. The small schools mostly aren't playing and no one cares. They have parents also. My opinion if students aren't allowed to be on campus then neither should athletes. Thought we were students first?

    The guvner trying to play bad, no problem with player families watching games in isolated areas, guv has no problem thousands penetrating streets, abc stores making record sales but a kids family not being to see him play, coop says not on my watch.

    Saban also Max. they pretend to care because they want the five stars to keep rolling in. I'm not fooled. The NBA bubble has been a success, but I can't see football at any level making it through the season without some cancelled games because of the Covid.

    I am not sure but 90% of this covid is political, one side wants to open back up, another wants halt everything, I think confirmed cases are inflated, I have hospitals get extra monies by having a covid death reported (multiple sourses including some in the med field) I go to same restaurant for morning coffee since they opened back up, everything seems normal but others not. If football happens good but if not I will carry on, I hated that ACC tournament did not finish and the NCAA tour did not happen but it did not effect my life, I carried on and the same will be if football is halted. I directed things to other areas and have enjoyed them immensely. If they allow players to have an extra year, they will have to allow teams to carry more players with new recruits coming in.

    Max, it seems like an uphill battle to have football this fall. The NCAA, although it doesn't have the power to enforce anything, has recommended all championship sports be moved the the spring. What a mess!! It's hard to predict what the players from the B10 will do. I wouldn't want to see any player from the ACC lose a roster spot to a transfer from another conference. Players are being granted an extra year of eligibility, which is fair, but what does that mean for players who committed to a school? With all the new Covid cases popping up, it may be a matter of (short) time before the ACC throws in the towel and postpones all fall sports. What a mess!

    since only 3 of the power 5 are trying to play, would love to see some of the ACC games on regular channels (local such as 5, 11, 17 and 50.) I think the ACC should give ND notice to play for ACC crown you must join Conference for all sports starting in 2020.
