    Yeah, Max, I was surprised to hear we're at the halfway point already. It went fast. Saw the ACC is rescheduling games that were previously postponed. Going to be tough on teams because they'll be playing a lot of games with short rest period.

    State looked good for part of the first half - not intimidated at all by Duke or it's Cameron crazies. Then, unfortunately, Duke took over. When Duke plays like that, I don't see any team in the ACC beating them.

    Well, all Triangle teams lost this week, but Carolina got blown out at Miami. They face a good Wake Forest team this Saturday. Hate to say it, but this is a must win for Carolina, whose schedule only gets harder as the season goes on.

    I am directing my viewing to anything else. Losing two games back to back by 20+ points??? It wasn't Roy and it isn't Hubert, but I don't know WHAT it is with this team. I did watch the Miami/FSU game yesterday. FSU was wiping the floor with Miami, but Miami came storming back. Heck of a game at the end. FSU ended up winning by one point. I am watching the playoffs. Surprised Green Bay lost to the Niners. Don't have a dog in the fight, so I am enjoying the games.

    Can't stand Rodgers, but a Brady/Rodgers championship game would have been fun. First time in a long time neither one is in the championship game. I really wanted Buffalo to win. Hopefully they'll remain a really good team and be back in the thick of things next year. I'd rather see Burrows than Mahomes, but don't really care. I think the Rams are better than the Niners, but the Niners have had the Rams number.

    Not ready for baseball with basketball in the meat of the ACC schedule. I have no idea how many teams besides Duke will be dancing in March. Maybe Miami and Wake and FSU.

    I bought sling tv just for acc football and some basketball but been disappointed, tried to get Acc x last night to watch Pack / ND couldn't get it- swofford sold acc fans down the river, ESPN controls everything acc, conference as a whole could care less about fans-im cutting it off ,may get it back in when football is back. All the coaches make a commercial about fans bring it, how about the coaches, ADs do something for the fan besides sell you tickets, take your donation willfully.

    ACC men's basketball has been terrible. Top basketball conference with one ranked team. Gotta get better.
    A lot of my Steelers twitter followers are mad at me and some just blocked me because Ben and the rape accusations from the past have surfaced again after his announcement yesterday. People calling him big rape and rapist. So I told them if he played for the browns, bengals or ravens you guys would name call also. Also they are mad because Brady may retire this year and go into the hall with ben and brady will take the shine away from Ben. LOL. I swear this is a crybaby fan base....

    Yeah, T, the ACC is the worst that I can remember. Just when you think a team like Miami or Florida State or Wake may be ranked, they lose a game. I don't ever remember having only ONE ranked team in the ACC.
    Hope the Heels can win tonight in Louisville, but Louisville game Duke a good fight, and I never know which Heels team will show up. They played out of their minds last Saturday, made shots they don't ever make. State missed shots they never miss. Think the rubber match will be different.
    Big Ben is a tricky situation. Can't argue about his play on the field. Guy is a beast and plays through injuries every year. Tomlin is an amazing coach to be able to manage some of those guys - AB, etc. Can't condone what Ben did off the field, but can't take away from what he did on it. He's a HOFer.

    Fans upset about how Tarheel fans treated K. I mean this is Duke/UNC BASKETBALL. What were they suppose to do give him a standing ovation? Liked the way UNC made it Roy day. I be glad when the kiss but tour is over. Still refuse to watch a game. What do you think fans say during the Auburn/Bama, or Mich/Ohio State games? K said he didn't bother him. Yeah right. UVA beat them and because of the game on Saturday. If you weren't ready to play isn't that on Coach?

    Yeah T - I recorded the UVA game, and watched it after I knew they won. UVA played really well. Guess Duke had a Carolina hangover - lol. I can't wait for this year to be over as well. Sloppy game last night at Clemson.
    I get both sides of the Carolina kiss K's you-know-what. Not giving him anything while the students are yelling F bombs probably isn't a great look, but K is the king of F bombs. And yeah - like the Cameron Crazies and K keep it G-rated?? Don't think so. Disappointed in the beat down, and it won't be better when the Heels go to Cameron. I think Carolina has a good chance of joining State on the couch in March. Can't believe there is still only ONE ranked ACC team. Think the ACC will get maybe four bids to the Dance. Wake is good this year, Miami is up and down. 'Cuse seem to turn it on late, but probably too late for them.

    State man, SMH. Watched them against Notre Dame. They have zero offense, its all one on one. Defense when they want to play. They are really terrible.

    Saw a stat on Bacot shooting 1-10 in a game and 4-12 against Duke. All your shots are in the paint. How can you shoot this bad?

    Bacot had been the most dependable player on this roster - this year's Garrison Brooks. Feel bad for him - hope he can make an NBA roster. Guy works his tail off. Hubert needs time, but sometimes he seems in over his head.

    State has too much talent for these results. Can't blame everything on missing Manny Bates. I know there's other injuries, but State is better than their record. At least they battle till the end. Do you think Seabron and Smith come back next year?

    No he needs to come back. There will be players overseas they we never heard of that have been playing pro ball over there that will get drafted.

    Seabron is a great athlete but he doesn't have a jump shot. Hard to get away with a guard in the NBA doesn't have a outside shot.

    I'm a Carolina fan, but I see your point about "next year" lol. If Seabron and Smith come back, State will be really good next year, plus I think they have a top point guard coming in. I don't know who they will lose to the draft or graduation. The Heels will lose Bacot for sure. Not sure what Love will do - he needs to come back. Most should probably come back but who knows what they'll decide; the transfer portal makes things harder to figure out. Leaky Black is a senior, so he's gone. He reminds me of Jackie Manuel with his ability to defend. I remember John Henson was great at swatting away the basketball around the rim. Chaps my Carolina blue rear to see Walker Kessler having a great year at Auburn - he had a triple double yesterday. Carolina sure could have used him. I didn't expect Auburn to be this good. Can't blame a player for going where it's best for him, but Carolina sure could have used his skills this year.

    Auburn is good. I have been following them all year and saw that game Saturday. They beat UK earlier also. SEC has become a basketball conference also. Kessler has become Mutombo with his blocks.

    Yeah, T, the least the SEC could do is let the ACC have basketball - lol. I started watching the History of the ACC on the ACCN. Love seeing the history of the league. Just turned off the Duke/Wake game. Had hoped Wake would have a better showing. Have to say Duke's D is really on tonight.

    I also miss the old Big East. Heard on the radio driving in to work about that last shot. Heard Bilas say they better review that one. LOL. k has had health problems for years but he just had to have one more year. Probably been told to retire 3 or 4 years ago. Just by watching him walk you can tell he isn't in the best of health. still hope the kiss up tour fails...

    That was a wild game, T. I turned it back when I saw a ticker on the bottom of the screen while I was watching the State/GT game saying K wouldn't return. Wake erased a 19-point deficit. There was a double T called when wake fouled a Duke player, Wake's Sy took exception when Duke's Williams kind of pushed him when he went to check on his teammate. Next thing, it was 5 on 5 and refs had to step in. Then it was back and forth. That tip in was basket interference until the Refs realized they better change the call. Reese Davis was calling the game with Debbie Antonelli. Davis said, "Oh it's a basket". Yeah of course. If Duke lost, K would have unretired lol.

    T - the best line of the night came from Steve Forbes (Wake Coach) at the post game presser.
    Wake heaved a 3/4 shot at the buzzer that looked like it might go in. He said he thought it was going in. Then he said he wasn't sure if it would have counted and added "Probably not here". He's figured out how it works in Cameron.

    FACTS... He was tired because HE had to play 4 games in 8 days... Can't wait when he has lost his last game. The world will be ok. Duke wanted Amaker, and K said it wouldn't be fair to Scheyer because is the top assistant. LOL. What about Nate James? Oh wait all of a sudden he left for Austin Peay. LOL. Scheyer would have been the better fit because of ages. Amaker is 56 . They would be looking for a new coach in about 10 years.

    Yeah, T. K said "he's 75" and 4 games on 8 days was too much because he "still prepares the same".
    Hate to hear Amaker is heartbroken.

    Heels really blew it losing to Pitt - at the Smith Center. That L = no NCAAs. And they don't deserve to be in the Tourney. I just don't get this team.

    Not so sure about Carolina in the Tourney. Have State and Duke on the road. No chance in Cameron, and I don't care what State's record is. PNC is a tough place to play and fans will show up. Seabron and Smith give State a chance in every game, and you know they always want to beat Carolina. Syracuse is playing their usual good late season game. Carolina will have to win 2 of 3 remaining games and one or two in Brooklyn. You never know what you'll get with this team.

    Four games on at the same time last night. It was a basketball buffet. All games were close, and back and forth. Was hoping Virginia would pull out the win, and Kehi Clark hitting SIX threes in the first half, they had a chance. Surprised Wake had a bad showing against a depleted Clemson team. ' Cuse made it interesting at Dame, but couldn't get it done. Was surprised State lost to BC. Seabron and Smith always show up, and I'm sure they will on Saturday at home against Carolina. I hope Keats can keep his job, but losing to BC at home doesn't bode well. He deserves another year with all the injuries, but I thought he got a luke warm show of confidence by Boo a few weeks ago. What a down year for the ACC.

    Well, that was a dud of a game between State and Carolina; one where I was just glad to hear the final buzzer signaling the game - and the pain - was over. Glad Carolina won, but worried about Leaky. And as if the basketball world paid homage to K, six of the Top Ten teams lost on the same day, something that never happened before. One mock poll has Duke at #3, making Duke's quest to be a one-seed very doable. Puke emoji.

    I have always respected the Steeler organization, you don't see them make a kneejerk reaction with a coaching situation, not just the steelers but most fan bases have a younger fanbase from about 30-35 and below are always biaching and moaning about something- the older more mature fan seem to take things in stride-Steelers will persevere and move on-I hope they keep Tomlinson for a while, I like him (old school kind of guy) Steelers are an old school organization its a good fit.

    Pack Basketball has definitely has not been kind this year, Bates going out early hurt tremendously, bright spots T Smith and D Seabron, J Hellums has been good from outside but not a true power forward, Cam Hayes has at best stayed at the same level, not sure about Gantt but he is suppose to be pretty good. next year starting five should guards Smith and Morsell, center Bates, forwards Seabron and Gantt-- Pass and Ross will get some minutes, hopefully Shawn Phillips will be good enough to play valuable minutes- I see Hayes, Dowuona and Gibson minutes going down, fortunes for the Pack will depend on the improvement of Pass, Ross, how good Gantt and Phillips are. I would say Pack should be much better next year (almost have to be)

    I have enjoyed the ACC series, I am probably older than y'all ( my southern heritage) Coach Case coach 19 years and won 11 conference titles - he spent time in the Navy and as a High School (1100 wins) coach before coming to State ( he was never under contract it was a handshake deal either could walk away anytime) he owned a chain of restaurants, he was visionary, a builder, promoter and one hell of a coach. He and John Wooden went head to head many times in high school game Everette alway got the best of him. I think Everett doesn't have to take a back seat to anyone Dean, K , Roy. Growing up this man was my idol, I got to go to ACC tournament opening round one year, State played S.C and UNC played Clemson- I watched the game but at times I would be watching Coach Case on the sidelines, this was one of the greatest moments of my life. My respect to Yow and V but Reynolds should have Coach Case's name on it somewhere-Ironically all 3 died from Cancer at relatively young ages.

    Playing right into K's hands. they will end up a one seed and play in Greensboro and Charlotte. Meanwhile the SEC which is the best conference are beating up on each other. K has a easy ride against unranked teams all year. The worshippers will be out Sat. Where will they all sit? LOL. K I'm sure can't wait. Come on UNC

    I heard 80 former players will be there. 80. SMH. I can only hope it's a big distraction but unless Banchero and company forget how to play, they'll beat Carolina easily. I'm just glad the Heels found a way to beat the Beoheims last night (and I really do like Buddy and Jimmy). I can see Carolina winning one game in the ACCT, and depending on who they face in the NCAAs, maybe one game, maybe not. All I'm all Hubert did a good job. Without Bacot, it wouldn't be good.
    I'm really enjoying the History of the ACC. Case gave a large portion of his estate to his team. Pretty special. The ACC owes a lot to Case.

    I guess K will take tickets away from 80 students for his former players. I have never wanted a coach to lose a game so badly, but we know the refs have this in the bag.
    Without Bacot UNC would be nowhere near 20 wins. Hubert I just don't get with his comments?

    Yeah, T, Carolina may as well just play their bench Saturday night. It's bad enough when you see the stats where Duke goes to the FT line compared to other schools. What a circus that game will be. I don't care about that game, but pleeeeze don't let K be the one cutting down the nets in April. The Committee will give them the easiest path. K will win ACC COY, National COY. Blah blah blah. March is my favorite month, but at least when that's over the rear kissing will cease.

    As I have said all year I haven't watched one game of the slob tour. they are now in line for a one seed. Duke fan told me yesterday that he will probably shed a tear or two for k. Dude really? I shook my head and walked off..

    T - I would have thrown up in my mouth if I heard that "shed a tear" comment. Makes me want to hurl. Missionary work? I didn't hear that. C'mon, Hubert. I know he's religious, but c'mon. Good man, though. I wonder how he feels with Roy in the stands for the games. I bet Roy asked Hubert, but he knew he couldn't tell Roy to stay home and watch on TV. I think Roy at least knows it wasn't his coaching with this team - they look the same as they did last year in a lot of ways. They are better at shooting the 3 though. Heard someone on the team asked for a "shooting coach", and Hubert had to remind them he's still second all-time in the NBA for made 3's. And Jeff Lebo is on the staff too. Leaky didn't close the door on coming back for a 6th year. Would love to see him back, and he's not NBA material, but wonder what he has to gain coming back. He'd improve, but not sure he'll want to come back another year. Love needs to come back as does R J Davis, but who knows.

    They all need to come back except for Bacot. I think he will be a late first rounder. I asked the Duke fan do you think k will shed a tear when you retire? He says he is taking off work tomorrow for the game. Dude you get off at 2pm and the game starts at 6. he said he wanted to get everything ready and he has a routine before every duke game. LOL....... Hubert man I just don't know about him. It's like he is saying we aren't good and its not my fault? Roy loves UNC he not only attends basketball games, but women's basketball, football, baseball, track and field, softball etc.. What games does k attend?

    Scheyer and Davis will be gone in less than 5 years, long term coaches are a thing of the Past, The Basketball I grew up with is gone, it is a new day with one and done, coaches are becoming multi-millionaire's fed by inflated ego's, freshman players demanding playing time or they are gone, the old earn your time on the court is gone, play me or I will find someone that will. That being said I do understand some players leaving, I remember Shaun Kirk from State the recruit Gott stoled from Kentucky, this guy should had more playing time. I get to rambling. I watched parts Va Tech/UNC and Miami/Louisville-- good games hell of a comeback by Miami down 54-38 came back and won 61-59- Probably drops Louisville from the 1 seed line, I will not watch the game tonight, its gonna be a love fest from opening tip. I have notice play by play announcers are not doing play by play anymore, they have conversations during the games, guarantee whoever is doing the game tonight will have a K story. TBC

    will have a K story between every possesion, Keatts will be back next year, I believe he will probably let some people go, next his seat will be warm (very warm) and if not a good year will be HOT Hot as each game goes, I was kind of on the fence but some wanted to fire some not but Warning to Boo if you decide to let KK go next year you better have your next coach already in line--- would love to see Kelvin Sampson come back home.

    I will be watching USC women's basketball at 5 and when that's over a DVR of one of my favorite shows on FX called Snowfall. By then the rump kissing regular tour will be over. k is loving it too. Capel and Nate James all of a sudden leave. k announces his retirement. k wants Scheyer over Amaker because he has been there the longest. What about Capel and James? Oh wait all of a sudden they left. k knew what he was doing. I bet Amaker won't be in attendance....... Please win UNC....

    All the ceromonies became more important than the game, I didn't watch it. A friend said it really got ridiculous. The most important game was the Pack women, it is gonna be tonight game, Miami has beaten number 2 and 3 seeded teams so they have confidence but Pack can and think will upgrade their play and get #3.

    I watched all the pre-game hoop-la, the game, and the post-game. Real classy - NOT - of Carawel to not shake hands, and Nate James did the blow by, deliberately looking away from Hubert Davis. What sore losers. I am SO HAPPY The Heels won!!!! My only hope was that there was too much distraction, and K won't admit it, but I think it was too much for his one-and-done players. So proud of Davis and his team. Bacot played his rear off.
    Yeah, T, it was a rump kissing fest, but the players will remember this game FOREVER. So will the fans. "How did your last game in Cameron go, K?" Everyone will remember unless Duke cuts down the nets in April, and please don't let that happen.
    Max- watching the History of the ACC really highlights how much college ball has changed, and not for the better for the most part. It's big business. Players paid over the table with NIL, and under it as well.
    T - I didn't know Roy went to all those games! Knew baseball, but not others. Good for Roy!

    My hero was and always will be coach Case, in my heart I do not think he takes a back seat to any one, he was a promoter of the game, the conference and NC State, a lot of coaches today are self promoters, that is where K falls. Coach Case only coached 18 years and won a conference championship 11 times, I do not have a problem rooting for Duke, K has become such a self promoter and feeding his own ego that is why I have a disdain for the present, I do not think Scheyer or will last long at either, when you start hiring former players, the percentage is it doesn't work out, no problem bringing some fresh blood, I like KK but not sure he can get the job done, next year will be his year to make vast improvements, Boo must have gotten Wendell's approval but I am sure their are some strings attached, some assistants will have to go. If the Pack wants to upgrade and get back to a higher they have to get an established coach, I say go after Kelvin Sampson make him an offer he can't refuse.

    The women's game has become a fun game to watch, they may not dunk but I think some of those girls can out shoot the guys from 3- hoping Pack can get # 3 today.
