Mornings, 6-9am on 620 The Buzz

If you haven’t been listening to Mark and Mike on 620 the Buzz from 6-9 in the morning Monday through Friday, shame on you. The guys like to have spirited debates on college football, Mark having played D-IA and Mike called games for his D-III school after realizing he had enough talent to call games for his D-III school. Mark has said on several occasions that BCS schools should never be compared, nor lose to their smaller non BCS brethren. So much so he spoke of a list of schools that “Big Time” football should never lose to.

Mark while in college had a coach tell him, “You should never lose to a school that is named after a city!” This happened before NC State played Louisville, the Wolfpack then went on to lose that game 35-14. It is not a solid theory, but the guys have had fun with this and hope you do too. It is meant to build up the non-traditional powers (at least Mike likes to think so) when they win by doing the impossible. It also provides guidance for the big programs (ask Mark) when they play their non-conference schedule.
