Alex Hall was born in Alaska, lives in Utah and spent time growing up in Switzerland, so it's not surprising that the slopestyle skier is the US Ski Team's unofficial tour guide and translator when over in the Alps. And he doesn't just his help his teammates order their meals, he can even help them design their kitchens.
Whoa, such a difficult trick. That's a first class platter of big air saying right there, one of the most unique tricks, that was impressive. My name is Alex Hall, I'm a slopestyle and big air skier and I'm from Salt Lake City. Utah yeah, I grew up in Switzerland, so I, I spoke swiss german with a lot of my friends. Do you have a favorite phrase in swiss german? Whoa, that was crazy, like, wow, that was unreal right there, there's a funny one that's like super generic, it's just which is like a kitchen cabinet. People who don't speak Swiss german usually can't say that one. I probably said it pretty poorly to like some of my swiss friends would be piston me right now. But I tried um yeah, the Germans super nice because we have a ton of events in Switzerland and Austria. I'm kind of like the team guide a lot of the time when we're traveling around, it's a little annoying when I'm with the team and I'm like personal translator because I don't get paid extra for that, but it makes being there for a longer amount of time easier, you know, I can go there for a couple of months and not just feel like I'm out of the loop the whole time. Oh goodness Alex hall, he stoked. That was a clean run
