It wasn't a good Sunday for the Carolina Panthers. A historic 26-0 loss at the Jacksonville Jaguars might be just the beginning of owner David Tepper's headache.
A video surfaced on social media where Tepper appears to pour a drink on Jaguars fans beneath his box. Tepper then throws the plastic cup aside and exits the frame of the video. A Panthers team spokesman declined WRAL's request to comment. ESPN is reporting the NFL is aware of the video and had no comment as well.
The loss was the first time Carolina has been shutout since 2002. It puts them at 2-14 on the season and clinches the worst record in the league. Tepper and the Panthers front office traded up to draft Bryce Young in the 2023 NFL Draft. Chicago will hold Carolina's No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft.
Tepper purchased the Panthers in 2018. He has already fired three head coaches and the team is 31-67 during his tenure.
